This month-long scaffold on Leeds Job Centre in the city’s financial district for a part of Mitie Group had to be erected at night by street and lamplight between 7pm and 7am.

Meeting the strict deadline and location demands was helped by a scaffold design done in three stages to accommodate painting, maintenance and repair work.

Three to six scaffolders, including a labourer, scaffolders and advanced scaffolding inspector, ensured the 10-12m high, 1,000m long scaffold was completed on time and to specification.
